Acne scar treatment at Harley Street
Improving the texture of rolling and shallow scars left after acne, once breakouts are under control.
What causes it
Acne scars form when deep or long-lasting spots damage the collagen underneath the skin. They range from shallow, rolling dips to sharper, deeper pits. Flat red or brown marks after spots are not true scars and usually fade with the right skincare.
How I can help
- A skin consultation to assess your scar types and make sure active breakouts are settled first.
- A personalised skincare plan to support skin repair and even out leftover marks.
- A course of in-clinic treatment that stimulates collagen, such as microneedling, peels or polynucleotides.
What to expect
Treatment aims to soften scars and improve texture, not remove them completely. Most people need a course over several months, and results build gradually.
Deep, narrow 'ice-pick' scars may respond better to treatments I don't offer, such as laser or minor surgical techniques. If so, I'll tell you and suggest a dermatologist.
Your plan uses skincare from Obagi, Skinbetter Science and Epicutis, chosen for your skin, with in-clinic treatment where it helps. Everything is explained, including costs, before you decide.
