Breakouts and acne-prone skin at Harley Street
A calm, consistent routine for oily, congested and breakout-prone skin, with in-clinic peels where suitable.
What causes it
Breakouts happen when pores become blocked with oil and dead skin and then inflamed. Hormones, genetics, stress, some skincare and make-up, and some medicines can all play a part. Adult breakouts, especially around the jaw, are common and often linked to hormones.
How I can help
- A skin consultation that looks at your routine, products, hormones and health history, as well as your skin.
- A personalised skincare plan using medical-grade skincare to reduce congestion without stripping the skin.
- In-clinic peels to clear congestion and brighten, where suitable.
What to expect
Skin usually needs 8 to 12 weeks of a consistent routine to show what it can do. I'll review your progress and adjust the plan.
Painful, deep or scarring acne, or acne that isn't improving, needs medical treatment as early as possible to reduce scarring. I'll tell you if that applies and help you get the right care.
Your plan uses skincare from Obagi, Skinbetter Science and Epicutis, chosen for your skin, with in-clinic treatment where it helps. Everything is explained, including costs, before you decide.
